E-SPORT worthy? Super Monday Night Combat!

http://i.imgur.com/IKpxb.png
Worthy of e-Sport status? You decide!

Super Monday Night Combat, is taking the MOBA style gameplay to a whole new level!
If you're used to playing MOBA games, such as; DoTA, HoN, and LoL, then maybe you'd enjoy SMNC! It's not what you'd expect, players engage in a Red v Blue third-person shooter to destroy the opposing teams money ball. The money ball acts as the final stage of the main base, similar to the nexus in league. Players also confront multiple obstacles of course to do so, such as turrets and enemy robots...oh yeah, and of course, enemy players! Each class, or 'pro' has it's own unique builds and functions, all used to help push forward to grand prize! There's been a lot of talk about e-Sports recently, or internet/videogame sports. These games require great strategy and cooperation with a system, and are often played in tournaments for grand prizes! Have a look at the layout/format of this game before us, logo is a sports brand-type photo. This game even has ANNOUNCERS! In-game announcers giving you the play-by-play as you play.

While many are sure that when Super MNC comes out of BETA it will be an instant sport, others disagree and say they "tried too hard", there have been MASSIVE waves of invitationals sent out so far each week. Head on over to Steam to apply for BETA! Most are issued 4 guest passes, if you want in, I'll be giving away 3 passes so that you can play whenever you want until the BETA is done.
All you have to do is comment below, saying something about the pass or the article, and i'll choose randomly to message you asking for you're steam name!

Team Fortress 2, DLC on the way!

Ladies and gentleman! Pyros and Heavys of all ages!

The time has come, our joyous video game, is coming to a turning point!

Team Fortress 2, the highly praised free-to-play first person shooter, known for it's outstanding gameplay in both the teamwork field and the fair-play aspect, will be undergoing more BETA tests for a new project. Nobody can be to sure about this project, as we've already seen mods such as Pirates, Vikings, and Knights. Which was very well put together! From personal opinions, people speculate it could be a zombie mode. They promise, it's not a hat, and it's not a map!

This DLC could be a big success or a huge blowout. We can't even predict or have any assumptions just yet because we have nothing to base it off! Well, whatever it is, we can all be sure about one thing. It's going to be big!

I love to play games with other people through steam. If you want to play this new content, leave your steam ID in the comments below! :)

It's not too often such a good free to play game will make a large update. We can all just be happy for the great things Valve has done for us! With games like, Half life, Day of defeat, Counterstrike, Left for dead, and for bringing steam to us! Once again, thank you valve for bringing amazing things to our disposal. And thank you readers, for reading!

Drakensang, free browser Diablo look alike!

Sometimes it's absolutely amazing what game programmers can do!
I want you to imagine a game like Diablo 3, now imagine it...free. And in your browser!
Drakensang is the game you are seeing in your head!
_____________________________________________________________________

...There's a few catches of course.

In Drakensang, you are only provided with;
  -3 character classes.
    -Ranger  -Spellweaver  -Dragonknight
  -1 race.
    -Human/Elf mix
  -Minimal customization options.
     -Hair/body size
  -Slightly difficult friend interface,
     -Harder to add/invite friends.
But with a free to play game...what more could you ask for?!

As a novice programmer, it astounds me what some people can do with codes!
This game was formatted and made so elegantly, the graphics are just absolutely superb and the style of the game blows my mind! You might see this as just another game, but it could very well be something you get into a lot while you are waiting for that one big game! (Hint hint)
Wherever you are, I recommend you check out Drakensang right HERE! And maybe browse Bigpoint's other games as well, as most are online and ALL are free!

And for the sake of you non-believers and the fact that the article looks dull, here is a screenshot for you're eyes to feast upon.

    How cool is that?→

Diablo III : Amazing news!...maybe?

It's a time to celebrate! ...or is it?

With the official announcement from Blizzard on March 15th, most of us had our questions answered. Diablo III shall be released on May 15, of 2012. That's all we wanted. But for some...we were displeased. Blizzard has stated that the PvP system is not yet complete to the standards they wanted to. So they are making the tough decision to push PvP Arena back until a later patch after launch! Even though the choice made was probably, a lot are complaining!

"I don't want an unfinished game..."
"Then what's the point of buying it?"

I'm sure Blizzard understands how hurtful this is to us all. But if I know one thing about them, we'll be getting what we paid for! After all...did you play that BETA?!? Even though I am a proud and fonder member in all Player vs Player communities, I still think it's an event worth rejoicing and calling your mother jumping in glee over, just me? okay.jpg

Mini BETA Review;
I haven't really enjoyed a BETA much more than I did when I was strolling undergrounds in Diablo III,  from learning new abilities and blowing whole rooms of skeletons out. Or using my strategic mind to solve mini puzzles in stone, I was always enjoying myself. I never got a taste of the PvP, (Embarrassed to say, I didn't know how to join in). However...I did see other players in the world. My favorite part of this game so far, was when I stepped into that arena-like area with my Templar companion, looked the Skeleton King in the eyes, and went to battle! I actually failed nearly 12 times, but when I finally got a techneic down. It was a great feeling. And I was sad to see that it had ended. Overall I got a good 12 hours of gaming in. (STRAIGHT) I must say, Diablo 3 BETA was definitely one of the the better ones!

Guild Wars 2 hype gets crazy with beta keys!

The British are coming! The British are coming!
Or as a lot of you must have been saying, The beta is coming! The beta is coming!

It's hard to believe, but finally, since the opening of the gw2 sign up page on February 22nd, the beta keys have started going out to "the chosen ones".
Guild Wars 2, the HIGHLY anticipated Massively Multiplayer Roleplaying Game, the only one really breaking away from the MMO standards. Building its own unique style and engine and just blowing our minds!
This game may bring e-sport factor into the mmorpg world. Having a fast paced, but strategic PvP combat system. Not in many games can you actually DODGE a fire blast, or an arrow or any attacking blow?
Not many games other than DAOC bring Server v Server PvP. But GW2 definitely does, and on a wide scale map with 3 different servers!  Check out more on WvWvW here.
I don't forget about PvE! Have you seen some of the awesome bosses in this game? As far as I have seen, the big mobs in events alone are enough to get your engines roaring. Be sure to check out "The Shatterer"
User interface and player customization is absolutely phenomenal! I'm sure after we get some taste of the beta, we'll be even hungrier for this game!
Good luck to those of you who got in / expect a key!

Hope to see you in game!
